The Explorer Series is a flagship line of balances that has been designed for sophisticated laboratories by offering semi-micro weighing up to 220 grams with a 0.01mg readability.
Explorer balance has been staying on top of industry trends since it was launched in 2012.

A new version will go live in 2022, especially for
Semi-Micro balances (5-decimal places), to support industry compliance with new or enhanced features, and bug fixes. The latest version of the Explorer series is
Terminal 2.25/Base 2.20.
- Simple and intuitive routine operations that reduce errors caused by manual calculation
- Built-in repeatability test (10 times by default) function to ensure weighing accuracy
- A dedicated application mode “Fill Weight Variation” follows the methods defined in the United States Pharmacopoeia
- Continuous printing format of statistic function in Weighing mode, allowing users to print multiple weighing results with only one header/footer
- Label printing function to be compatible with Zebra label printers
- Enhanced data and user management system that ensures data security
- Four-level user management with complex password policy to protect against unauthorized changes
- System log function that allows exporting on both calibration and balance system log file in PDF format in order to meet the requirements of data integrity and traceability
- Optimization of weighing performance
- Stability settings and configuration in Semi-Micro models have been improved. It aids in the quick stabilization of the balance in order to determine the weight of the powder sample.

If you buy a new Explorer
- All new Explorer balances ordered in 2022 will be delivered with the latest software installed.
If you already have an Explorer
- Contact an authorized OHAUS Service Agent and request the software to be installed. Please visit our website www.ohaus.com to locate the OHAUS office nearest you. An OHAUS Product Service Specialist will be available to assist with the update.

More” on the main screen, and enter “
Standby” to check the software version (the first number after “Version” stands for Terminal version, while the second number is Base version).
